For this purpose, Alcorta has state-of-the-art design and simulation systems, including finite element simulation of physical stresses and in-process material flows. These permit countless improvement cycles prior to defining the final geometry.

Research resources available to us are however much greater, since we have access to different laboratories and engineering firms nearby that specialise in the automotive industry. But, above all, we can benefit from the recently created Automotive Intelligence Center AIC http://www.aicenter.eu
We also collaborate actively in European technological platforms (FP7 program) and take part in a number of innovation forums (TECNALIA, CEIT, CITEAN, etc.).
